ABOUT ME

Hi I’m Dan (also going by the nickname ‘DG’) and I’m the passionate photographer and artist behind DG Weddings. Communicating through the use of visuals has always come naturally to me, expressing myself through the artwork of photography has always inspired me.

Originally cutting my teeth as a landscape and ocean photographer, under the name DG Imagery over 10 years ago, I then moved onto working full time as a commercial photographer (DG Media) and haven’t looked back since. I started shooting weddings around 6 years ago and came to enjoy the process as time went on. Photographing such a diverse range of industries has given me a very unique and refined set of skills, which translates well into capturing the best possible photographs.

My approach to photographing a wedding is super relaxed, I love to have a joke and make my couples feel comfortable in front of the lens. Maintaining a high level of focus and squeezing every bit of juice out of the amazing wedding moments.
